Pin joint
The seepex progressive cavity pump features two robust and easy to mount
pin joints that facilitate the eccentric sequence of motions of the rotor.
The pin joint is made up of wear-resistant, hardened and replaceable joint
components, a coupling rod bushing, a coupling rod pin and two guide bushings.
It is fixed on the rotor or plug-in shaft head through a retaining sleeve.
The joint completely filled with special grease
is hermetically sealed with an elastomeric universal joint sleeve and
two holding bands.
The universal joint protection offers the
joint effective protection against mechanical destruction due to ultralarge
solids such as plastic, wood and metal parts. We grant a warranty of 10,000
operating hours for joints protected in this way.
The Plug-in Shaft Connection
The plug-in shaft connection between the pump and drive or drive casing
greatly simplifies service work.
The plug-in connection makes it possible to
replace the entire rotating unit and shaft sealing rapidly without having
to dismount the drive or drive casing.
